Costa Rica just keeps getting more attractive as a top wedding destination! The new 4 lane highway from San Jose to the Pacific Coast was inaugurated last month… great news for couples being married in Costa Rica (and great news for guests too!) Drive time to Jaco is now an hour, Manuel Antonio is around 2 1/2 hrs, and you can reach Playa Hermosa in the North Pacific in around 3 hours!
Check out Nathaniel Corn of Balance Photography's incredibly unbelievably GORGEOUS photos of Costa Rica. I think photo #'s 10 & 77 are my personal favorites…I'd hang #10 on my wall.
Imagine being married here… A collection of photos of ceremony sites around the country. From being surrounded by trees in the Rainforest to floating in the clouds in a hot air balloon – the possibilities of where you can be married in Costa Rica are endless.
Manuel Antonio was named one of the World’s Most Beautiful Sunsets by Forbes Traveler. And deservedly so!

I love when a groom contacts us to plan a wedding getaway, it's just the sweetest thing in the world to hear a guy take such care with the plans to make his future wife feel special. Recently Daniel did just that and swept his bride-to-be Jessica off for an exotic getaway through Costa Rica. 10 days filled with adventure, relaxation, and of course – romance! This could traveled from Arenal Volcano to Manuel Antonio where they were married in Buena Vista & Tulemar's private beach at sunset.
A beautiful Garden of Eden ceremony held at Arenal Lodge surrounded by family and friends, 80 of which had traveled from the U.S. to share this special day. Photographed by Nathaniel Corin of Balance Photography www.balanceweddings.com, Officiated by Ana Vargas, and Flowers by Giuliana Cox.
