This Thank You note from a recent bride greeted me in my inbox this morning. What a wonderful way to start the day! Had to share:

We wanted to thank you for all the hard work and time you put into making our wedding such a special and unforgettable event for my Husband and I and all of our guests. As we think of our wedding day and the time we spent with you, what we feel is that our wedding surpassed all our wildest hopes and dreams. We could not have asked for a more prefect event. In sending this email too you and thinking of the trip, tears come to our eyes. We truly could not have asked for anything more. We were pulled aside by each one of our guests and whispered to about how much this was a life changing event for each of them. Words cannot express adequately our thanks and appreciation. From the beautiful rainforest setting, gorgeous rooms, delicious food, professional wedding planning assistance, and expert staff; in my opinion there is no better place in the world to visit and celebrate a new beginning.

Thank you again so very much with all our heart.

Today we had a treat – Costa Rican artist Rodrigo Piedra dropped into the bakery and painted the flowers for Bill & Kellie's wedding cake!

Bill & Kellie treated their guests to a Pirate Ship cruise today. That's right – a Pirate Ship. It's a 1700's replica, hand crafted in Teak by local artisans. This adventure, a sailboat, or a Catamaran Cruise are a great option for a first day or last day excursion for the entire group to enjoy! It is a nice way to bring all ages together, as throughout the trip they may have enjoyed different adventures depending on their capabilities and preferences.

Traveling to Costa Rica just got easier! jetBlue is offering 4 weekly nonstop flights from New York JFK and Costa Rica LIR starting on November 17. One-way sale fares as low as $139 each way available for bookings by July 29 for travel November 17 – February 15, 2012. After taxes tickets come out to $352 per person round trip. Not bad at all for Liberia! That's cheaper than most flights into San Jose!

Welcome bags are a great way to greet your guests! We dropped off bags yesterday in the Arenal Volcano area – locally made bags decorated by a local artist, filled with local products: chocolates, candies, coffee, platanos, and helpful items: water, wine, maps, and schedules of events with common phrases, travel tips, and restaurant recommendations. A couple of our favorite treats include Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans or Chocolate Covered Guayaba Fruit – so addicting!
